AFAIK it cannot grab ASIO from ReaRoute, so won t necessarily fix your #1 problem However it does, for me, solve the issue of OBS not having an audio output. First one that probably comes to mind is Virtual Audio Cable, which I think first made an appearance last century! Good stuff, but won’t fix everything.I’ll list them here maybe people can give their experiences. Thanks.For fixing the IDIOTIC problem of moving audio between apps on windows (Say from your DAW to skype, whatnot), there are a lot of things out that work with varying success. I would really appreciate it if someone can help explain how I can get my microphone to work in MIXXX and via Skype at the same time so I can take calls live during my show. I prefer to do this without purchasing hardware if possible. Is there a way through software to get this to work? I am not sure if a mix board would help like the RODECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio, etc. The mic works fine in MIXXX and broadcasts my voice as I am talking, the issue is the caller is lost without hearing my voice through the call on Skype at the same time. When I make a call while broadcasting through MIXXX, I can hear the caller but they can’t hear my voice through the mic in the call through Skype. I set Skype up to use my Hyper X microphone as input and my VB Audio Virtual Cable as my output. I decided I wanted to try and take live callers via Skype.
Basically, I play music through a browser into MIXXX via the virtual cable and then talk with my Hyper X mic and broadcast live through MIXXX. In addition, I use VB -Audio Virtual Cable to play music from my Firefox browser. My current configuration is a Hyper X microphone and I use it as my main microphone. Up until now, I have been using MIXXX to live broadcast my radio show on. I am currently on the latest release of 2.2.4. I have been using MIXXX for a little over a year now.
